Description
Irish Moss (5g) is a seaweed derived fining agent used by many brewers to help make a clear beer without the need for a filter, and to prevent chill haze. Irish Moss (5g) accelerates protein coagulation during the end of the boil which helps prevent chill haze. Many of our brewers use Irish Moss (5g) in every batch. Irish Moss (5g) is also referred to as Copper or Kettle finings due to its use during the boil rather than in the fermenter.
