Want to quickly check the pH of your beer mash, cheese, or ferment? pH test strips are your answer.
To get the best results, match the strip’s colour to the colour chart within 15 seconds of wetting it.
The Scale on the colour chart covers everything from extremely acidic (pH 1) to highly alkaline (pH 14).
pH 1-3 = Very Acidic
pH 4-6 = Acidic
pH 7 = Neutral
pH 8-11 = Alkaline
pH 12-14 = Very Alkaline
Instructions
Press the strip briefly against the liquid you’re testing.
Remove it and immediately hold it next to the included colour chart to find your result.
Note: If the acid or alkali concentration is super low (below 0.01%), the strip won’t show a clear result. Remember to keep unused strips stored clean and dry in the provided zip-lock bag with the colour chart folded out so you can compare it to your test strip.
