This Introduction to Lacto Fermentation is a hands-on workshop.

Together, we’ll prepare a tasty, aromatic and healthy ferment that is full of live probiotics, prebiotics, digestive enzymes, amino acids and fibre.

I’ll show you how Lacto Fermentation doesn’t just preserve the vegetables; it acts like a tiny biological factory, enhancing the nutritional profile of the raw ingredients whilst creating flavour and complexity with just a few ingredients and simple steps.

We will also be tasting different ferments, and you’ll receive a booklet with information and recipes.

Time: 9:00 am until 12:30 pm

Ingredients and materials will be provided. You only need to bring a cutting board and a knife (and an apron if you wish).
